SHILLONG: TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee claims that, CM Conrad K Sangma failed to take the needed action against the Mukroh firing incident and assure justice for the deceased’s ones.

The TMC General Secretary asserts that, the episode was a rare one which had adverse affect in the entire region. Furthermore, the leader stated that, three months has gone by ever since the episode took place, however, no stern actions can be seen by the state administration.

Isn’t it the responsibility of a Chief Minister to look after matter like this and offer justice?’, Banerjee questioned. He further mentioned that, Conrad K Sangma’s government will slowly vanish as the CM himself is losing his own seat.

Six months prior from today, the party was very much sure that TMC will not be able stand anywhere in the state, he added. But now the situation has reversed, and is one gives a keen look, then it will come to notice that all tweets, statements and speeches revolves around Trinamool Congress.  

The NPP starts their day with TMC and ends with the same, Abhishek Banerjee claimed. He further questions the existence of Conrad K Sangma, and views that the leader lacks efficiency to run the state and administration. Along with that, the NPP leader while interacting in a public rally cites example of the Mukroh Firing incident, and states that, the CM miserably failed to offer justice to the victims.

West Bengal also shares boundary with Assam, but no individual will come up and shoot five people and walk freely. According to Banerjee, the prime cause behind this fear is presence of CM Mamata Banerjee. The Mukroh firing episode took place on 22nd of November, 2022.
